Plymouth-Canton Public Schools
The Plymouth Michigan school district, frequently referred to as Plymouth-Canton Community Schools (P-CCS), serves the majority of homes for sale in Plymouth. These include four high schools, five middle schools, and fifteen elementary schools. There are also two alternative schools available as well.

Plymouth-Canton is routinely recognized as one of the top districts in the United States by U.S. News with 41% of high school students attending advanced placement courses.

Plymouth’s numerous industrial parks are filled with major corporate research facilities and industrial entities from the worlds leading companies like Isuzu, Johnson Controls, Bosch, Tower Automotive, TRAM, Freudenberg NOK, BREMBO, Humanetics Innovation Solutions, Aunt Millie’s Plymouth Bakery and Poof Corporation that manufactures every child’s favorite toy “the Slinky.”

The high quality workforce attracted by the numerous research and technology opportunities creates a tremendous market for retail and services in the community and creates a base of residents with higher than average per capita incomes and higher levels of educational.
The Michigan Life Science and Innovation Center is a collaboration of public and private resources designed to connect well-funded experienced entrepreneurs with business accelerator organizations and start-up life science companies.

The center is a 57,518 sq. ft. center with modern laboratories and office space and has already attracted 10 companies doing R&D to the center. The project is a collaboration of a private foundation, Ann Arbor SPARK, MEDC and the Wayne County Economic Development Corporation.
