The Plymouth Michigan school district, frequently referred to as Plymouth-Canton Community Schools (P-CCS), serves the majority of homes for sale in Plymouth. Plymouth-Canton is routinely recognized as one of the top districts in the United States by U.S. News with 41% of high school students attending advanced placement courses.

The center is a 57,518 sq. ft. center with modern laboratories and office space and has already attracted 10 companies doing R&D to the center. The project is a collaboration of a private foundation, Ann Arbor SPARK, MEDC and the Wayne County Economic Development Corporation.
